11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Emmet Park (east end of Bay Street)
Presented by the City of Savannah’s Department of Cultural Affairs

The festival opens at 11 AM with an impressive traditional Irish ceremony featuring the Parade Grand Marshal and local dignitaries in a procession of colorful flags and bagpipes. The day continues with live performances, food, crafts, rides and games.

Savannah’s own Harry O’ Donoghue will emcee the main stage as well as treat the audience to his own performances. Harry will also do a set with local vocalist Cc Witt and fiddler Coleen Settle. The main stage will feature performances of The Irish Dancers of Savannah and the Glor na Daire Academy of Irish Dance.

With the event being held two days before the parade, a larger audience is expected.

The Tara Feis children’s stage will feature a full day of entertainment including the puppets of Conrad Hartz, the magic of Magic Marc Dunston, interactive music and stories with Jamie and Laura Keena and of course the Irish step dancers.
