FREE art event: Kids can watch an artist painting demonstration, Savannah (Feb. 27)

Free week at the Jepson Center Savannah
Bring the kids to Telfair Museums’ Jepson Center atrium in Savannah this Thursday, Feb. 27, from 5-8pm to watch a fantastic painter, Kerry Dunn, conduct a painting demonstration.

This is a fun FREE family event.

Telfair Museums will provide chairs for observers and the Jepson Café will be open, enabling guests to enjoy a glass of wine or beer as they watch the artist work.

This event is free of charge and if you came to see the Monks’ demonstration of the sand mandala, this will be just as wonderful!

Kerry Dunn is a contemporary academic oil painter who focuses on portraits, still life, landscapes and interiors. Dunn’s portraits have won many awards throughout the years, most recently won Best of Show in the Portrait Society of America’s International Portrait Competition in 2013.

Come and give your kids a chance to watch a true artist at work.
