Savannah Arts Academy presents A Festival of One Acts, Jan. 16 & 23 2013

The Savannah Arts Academy’s Theatre Department presents “A Festival of One Acts” – a series of 16 student directed, performed and produced one act plays on Wednesdays, January 16 & 23, 2013 at 7:00 PM in the Black Box Theater at 500 Washington Avenue.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for students and senior citizens and can be purchased online at  or at the door. Seating is limited so you are encouraged to get your tickets soon.

Students from all of the theatre classes will direct, perform, and produce 16 plays over 2 nights. Eleven of these plays were written by the students. Over 85 students will be involved in these performances.

They will perform the following plays: on January 16th
The Tooth Hurts, Slightly Left of Paradise, Writer’s Left, The Pick-up, Cuttin’ Line, Clueless, Closure, The Boogieman, Love Letters and Carnal Instinct , on January 23: Sales and Wails, Blackout, Bail, Simulation Number Three, Insanity, Ybergeschnappt.

The Savannah Arts Academy is a specialty visual and performing arts public high school whose quest is to develop graduates who exemplify academic and artistic excellence.
