FREE Little League Opening Day Parade, Garden City
Garden City Little League Opening Day Parade. Opening day for Little League begins with a parade led by Garden City Mayor Tennyson Holder and City Council members, followed by the coaches and teammates. The parade starts at the Garden City Recreation Center, winds through residential streets in Garden City and ends at Bazemore Park. Festivities at the Bazemore Park Baseball Complex include a complimentary lunch for the teams, and season-opening baseball games. This event is free and open to the public.

The parade begins at 9:00 a.m.
The first pitch will be thrown by Garden City Mayor Tennyson Holder at 10 a.m. at the Bazemore Park Baseball Complex, with festivities to follow.
