Tybee Island Fourth of July Fireworks Mon. July 4
July 4, 9:30 -10PM
Come early and plan to stay late as this is one of Tybee’s busiest days of the year and the island fills up fast. The show starts around dark thirty (around 9:15pm). The fireworks are staged on the pier, but they are easily viewed from any of Tybee’s eastern beaches.

Richmond Hill Red, White & Blue Celebration & Fireworks Sat. July 2
FREE family-friendly Red, White, and Blue Independence Day Celebration Sat. July 2 5-9:30PM at J. F. Gregory Park, 521 Cedar St.
Features live music by Cody James & Highway 55, an animal demo from Trapper Jack, arts and crafts vendors, inflatable water slides, farmers’ market, face painting, family fishing, and will be topped off with a fireworks show. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. The event ends with a fireworks show.

Savannah Fireworks, Mon. July 4, River Street
The Savannah Waterfront Association Fourth of July event, 4-10PM on River Street
Live music by The Hypnotics 8-10PM. VIP seating for viewing fireworks will be available for active and retired military and will be on a first come, first served basis.
Fireworks will start at “dark thirty” (around 9:30PM). Guests are encouraged to park off of River Street since the SCMPD will close the street from 6pm-3am.

South Island

Harbour Town Fireworks, Mon. July 4

Children’s activities, live music, food and beverage will be available as well as the fireworks display about 9PM July 4.  The fireworks will begin about 9PM (dusk) from a barge in Calibogue Sound.  There is a $6 gate fee to enter the resort (unless you are a resident or guest staying on the resort) and a free shuttle service will be offered between Harbour Town and various parking lots in the Sea Pines Resort.  No coolers, please.

Shelter Cove HarbourFireworks, July 4

HarbourFest on July 4 at Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina is an expanded version of the activities at Shelter Cove each Tuesday night during summer. Entertainment; children’s activities, food and more. Activities start at approximately 6:30 p.m., with fireworks at 9PM.
Parking: Shelter Cove marina, The Mall at Shelter Cove off William Hilton Parkway. A shuttle will then run from back and forth from the parking lots to Shelter Cove all evening.

North Island

Skull Creek Boathouse Fireworks, July 4 

Hudson’s On the Docks Restaurant hosts this event. Live music with Bootless at 7PM at the Sunset Landing Beer Garden. Fireworks will be shot off from a barge on the Intracoastal Waterway. No outside food or drink or coolers allowed.
When/where: 7-11PM July 4; fireworks at approximately 9:15PM.; Skull Creek Marina/Hudson’s On the Docks, Squire Pope Road
Parking: Free parking and shuttle service from the Boys & Girls Club on Gumtree Road. Don’t park on Squire Pope or Gumtree roads or you risk being towed and ticketed.

Fourth of July family Fun at Tricentennial Park Savannah

July 2-4: Fourth of July Family Fun @ Tricentennial Park. Special programs @ Savannah Children’s Museum, Georgia State Railroad Museum & Savannah History Museum throughout Fourth of July weekend. Details here. 

July 2-4: Century of Sentries interactive program @ Old Fort Jackson. Learn about individuals, units of the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War. Program includes hands-on activities for all ages, marching, battle reenactments, heavy artillery drill, musket & cannon demos. Details here. 

July 4: Free ice cream for reciting the Pledge of Allegiance for ages 12 & younger, 4-7PM @ Leopold’s Ice Cream. July 4th will be a special event with I Pledge festivities taking place outside & surprise treats (while they last) for all of the young participants. Details here. 

July 4: 4th of July Magnolia Park Parade
You’re invited to take part in this longtime tradition. The parade starts on the corner of Woodland Dr. & Forsyth Rd., 11AM July 4 and ends at the MBF Pool (Bacon Park Dr. & Morgan St.). The parade lasts about 20 minutes. Bring your kids, family, friends to participate in this 2015 celebration. Decorate yourself, your bike, golf cart, wheel barrels or even your lawnmowers in red white & blue to parade through the neighborhood. Assembly for the parade will start at 10:45 am.
The route for this year’s parade will be posted on the Magnolia Park Neighborhood Facebook page here in the next few days.

Richmond Hill 

July 2: Fort McAllister Fourth of July Celebration, 9AM-4PM
Celebrate Independence Day with living history programs including demos of Civil War drills & rifle and cannon firings. Visitors can participate in old fashioned games including sack races, an egg toss, wheel barrow races & a Civil War-era baseball game. Fresh watermelon will be available.

July 2: FREE Star Spangled Car Show: The Richmond Hill Historical Society and Museum will host a Star Spangled Cars and Coffee, an event showcasing rare and antique cars, on Saturday, July 2 9-11AM at the Richmond Hill History Museum, 11460 Ford Ave. This free, family-friendly event, hosted by J.C. Lewis Ford, allows car owners to display their one-of-a-kind rides. Attendees may take a tour of the Richmond Hill History Museum. Coffee & ice cream will be available for purchase. July 4: Red, White & Blue Kids’ Bike Parade in Harbour Town, Sea Pines, Hilton Head Is.
8:30 AM to register, parade starts at 9:30 AM July 4
Show off your red, white and blue spirit by decorating your bicycle, wagon, dog, or kids for a fun parade around Harbour Town. Meet at the parking lot adjacent to the Harbour Town Lighthouse at 8:30am to register and pick up decorating supplies. Parade lineup begins promptly at 9:30am, and entries will be judged on patriotism. Supplies available to the first 100 registered families. July 4: Gregg Russell Fourth of July Concert, Harbour Town, Hilton Head Is.
8-9PM
Over the years, Gregg Russell has become a classic at The Sea Pines Resort. You’ll find him under the famed Liberty Oak in Harbour Town, entertaining adults and children, alike, and his concerts are not to be missed. FREE. He will perform a Fourth of July concert on July 4 8-9PM. More info here.
