FREE Chick Hatchery @ Oglethorpe Mall, April 12-14
A favorite FREE Savannah Easter tradition, the Chick Hatchery, starts Wed. April 12 and runs through Fri. April 14 2017 indoors in the Macy’s Court near the Easter Bunny at Oglethorpe Mall in Savannah.
The Easter Bunny will also be in Macy’s Court for pictures & visits.
The hatchery is open mall hours 10 AM-8PM. Free
Kids of all ages can watch the chicks emerge from their eggs and hold a newly hatched chick. For more than two decades, Chatham County Cooperative Extension has run the hands-on display hatchery during the Easter season. (912) 652-7981

20,000 eggs. Featuring separate hunts based on age, live music, the Easter Bunny, inflatables, bubble soccer, food trucks. FREE but every child who wants to participate is required to register in advance and receive a wristband. This will allow organizers to monitor and regulate the number of kids in each hunt. FREE Pooler Egg Hunt, April 15
Sat. April 15 2017 9-11AM at the Pooler Recreation Complex (200 Preston stokes Dr, Pooler, GA 31322).
For children through 5th Grade.
There will be one hunt at 9AM & one hunt at 10:30AM.
FREE event, but organizers require each child participating to reserve a ticket by clicking here. A printed copy of each ticket must be presented at the event in order to be admitted.
When you reserve your child’s ticket, please be sure to select the ticket that matches your child’s age range (either under 2 years old, 2-3 years old, 4-5 years old, 1st – 3rd grade or 4th – 5th Grade) and desired hunt time (either 9am or 10:30 am).
Bring a non-perishable food item to donate to Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry.
