Scholarships Available for Pre-K Students

JEA Preschool Savannah is a part of the ALEF Fund program, which offers scholarships to Pre-K students.

The ALEF Fund is a Georgia Tax Credit Student Scholarship Organization. The JEA Preschool Savannah is able to distribute the dollars collected through the ALEF Fund to Pre K families for the upcoming school year.

These funds greatly subsidize current tuition for the four year old core and afternoon program fees.

Fall art classes for kids start the week of Sept. 8 @ Scribble Art Studio in Pooler & Savannah, but kids are welcome to join in any time after the start.

Classes include Imagination Station: Anything is possible at Imagination Station. This class is designed to grow a child’s creativity & problem solving through fun foundation building projects.

There’s also Mommy & Me Mother Goose Art for ages 2 & older; Star Wars Lego Art; Cartoon Drawing; Spooky Illustrations; Classic Tales, Frozen class for ages 4 & older; Painting Basics; Portfolio Prep; & Drawing Made Easy.

On Mondays that Savannah Chatham County Public Schools are not in session(including MLK Jr. Day), SCM will be open 10am-4pm.

Program descriptions

Hooray for History: programming has been specifically designed to introduce basic historical information to young children in an age appropriate and FUN way. Generally appropriate for ages 3-8.
Family Fitness: brings the whole family together to learn about nutrition, health, and fitness in a fun and engaging way. This program is designed for children and adults to be participating together for maximum FUN and learning.
Creative Crafts : a fun program designed to allow children to create something special to take home using their imaginations and creativity. This program is generally appropriate for ages 3-12.
Story Time: (a classic read-aloud program for children of all ages. The books read during each story time will be chosen based on the ages of children participating)
Super Science (This is an experiment based science program that will introduce children to interesting science concepts through REALLY COOL investigations! This program is generally appropriate for ages 4-12.)
Awesome Art (This goes beyond crafts to teach about different medias, artists, and techniques in a child friendly way. This program is generally appropriate for ages 4-12.)
