Juneteenth celebration in Savannah returns for its 18th year at Telfair Museums!
Juneteenth Free Family Day – On Saturday, June 7 from 10am-5pm local residents can enjoy free admission* to the Jepson Center and Telfair Academy. Performances will begin at 1pm with art making activities available from 1-4pm at the Jepson Center.
*FREE admission to the Jepson Center and Telfair Academy for local residents (Chatham, Effingham, Bryan, Liberty, Bulloch, Beaufort, and Jasper Counties).
Juneteenth Lecture – Join us at the Ralph Mark Gilbert Civil Rights Museum on June 10 at 6pm for a special presentation on Gullah Geechee culture, history, and beliefs with author, Emmy-nominated performing artist, and cultural interpreter, Ron Daise.
