Labor Day Weekend festivities @ Plant Riverside District Savannah include:

FREE ART IN THE PARK

Kids of all ages are invited to participate in free arts and crafts activities, including bracelet making and face painting with 18Loves Art’s Amelia Jamerson on Sat. Sept. 2 and Sun. Sept. 3, 2-6PM in Martin Luther King, Jr. Park at Plant Riverside District. A graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, Jamerson creates colorful artwork that is known for its heart imagery and positive messages.

FREE FOUNTAIN SHOWS

The fountain at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park will host daily interactive Fountain Shows at 3PM and 7PM, featuring music by The Beach Boys, Chicago and Sheryl Crow.

Children are welcome to wear their bathing suits and to play in the fountain.
