Have you ever taken your kids to experience any of the special programs @ Old Fort Jackson in Savannah?

Here’s your chance. Visit Old Fort Jackson on Saturdays and Sundays in October for Cure Me or Kill Me! From 10AM – 4PM, explore the struggles of ill and wounded soldiers fighting on both sides during the American Civil War and discover if treatment would have cured you or killed you.

This event is family friendly with hands-on activities and includes For Jackson’s daily cannon firing programs at 11AM & 2PM.

Cure Me or Kill Me will allow visitors to participate in infantry demonstrations and to learn about triage, field hospitals, surgery, and so much more. Get hands-on experience with moving a stretcher and performing battlefield triage, as well as an up-close look at a variety of tools used in treatment.
