St. Andrew’s Students Recognized at Jepson Center, Savannah

St. Andrew's School artists Jepson Savannah There is a must-see exhibit at Telfair Museums’ Jepson Center for the Arts through April 5, which includes work from two St. Andrew’s School students.

On March 7, junior Karla Nemanic and senior Matthew Powers exhibited their work in the Savannah Art Association’s High School Art Competition at the Jepson. Nemanic’s mixed media painting, Lantern, received 1st place and Powers’s painting, Perspectives, received a merit award. Both paintings were produced in their first year of International Baccalaureate Art. 13 area schools submitted a total of 26 entries which were considered for merit awards and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall.

Congrats to these two students and their art teacher Michael Barefield.
