Live Oak Public Libraries Summer Reading Program 2015; Free Showings of “Big Hero 6”

Summer Reading Program 2015 Live Oak Public Libraries Savannah Chatham Pooler

Visit any Live Oak Public Libraries branch and pick up your Every Hero Has a Story reading log or download one from the Live Oak Public Library website, www.liveoakpl.org.

Don’t forget to register online in the Hero Hangout area of our website so you qualify for all the great prizes.

In the Hero Hangout, you can also share reviews of your favorite books, see what others are reading this summer, make a wish list, and keep track of what you’ve read!

Read anything – comics, graphic novels, newspapers, e-books and, of course, library books.

You can also participate by listening to stories read aloud or by listening to audiobooks.

Yes, attending a library storytime or program counts, too! For the complete schedule of Summer 2015 programs, performances and storytimes at Live Oak Public Libraries, click here.

Read or be read to for a total of 10 hours. Complete and record your 10 hours from June 1 through July 31.

Keep track of the hours you’ve read by putting X’s through the books on your Every Hero Has A Story reading log.

Keep track of the book titles you’ve read on our Hero Hangout webpage online. You’ll need these to get your free book from Barnes & Noble (while supplies last).

LEVEL 1: Completed 10 hours? Starting June 9th, you can bring in your reading log and pick up your Level 1 Rewards Sheet, an entry for the grand prize drawing, and a coupon for a free book from Barnes & Noble (while supplies last). Note: Reading logs will not be accepted for rewards until June 9th.
LEVEL 2: When you finish another 10 hours (20 hours total), go to the library to pick up your Level 2 Rewards Sheet and another entry form for the grand prize drawing.
LEVEL 3: When you finish another 10 hours (30 hours total), you can pick up your Level 3 Rewards Sheet and another entry for the grand prize drawing.
LEVEL 4: When you finish another 10 hours (40 hours total), you can pick up grand prize drawing entry forms plus a special VIP Reader’s backpack and a Golden Ticket. Show your Golden Ticket at the VIP Reader’s booth at the festival and you’ll be given a VIP Reader’s badge to wear at the event and a copy of the newspaper insert.
