Harvest Festival, Cane Grinding Event 2014 Oatland Island Wildlife Center Savannah Help Oatland Island Wildlife Center celebrate Georgia’s diverse agricultural traditions during their annual Harvest Festival & Cane Grinding event,  10 AM- 4 PM Nov. 21 2015

Centered around Oatland’s 1800’s Heritage Homesite, history comes alive with old-time music, cane boiling, butter-making & cooking on the hearth & open fire.

See how “it was back then” amidst the sights, sounds & aroma of an old-fashioned fall gathering.

Children young & old will enjoy hay rides, crafts & games, cane syrup & other fun festival food that will tug at your senses as you venture back through history.
