SouthernMamas receive discount and free parking at Saturday’s Puppet People show

puppet-people-logo-2This weekend, families have  a unique opportunity to attend a public Puppet People children’s show. The beloved Puppet People rarely have performances that are open to the public.

Angela Beasely’s Puppet People No. 1 Family Show – called “Monkey Bubbles Takes A Train Ride”  – will be performed Sat. July 10 at the Savannah History Museum, 303 MLK Jr. Blvd.  Note the time change of the two performances. The new performance times are: 10AM and 11 AM.

The first hour is free parking! Show tickets cost is $6, but mention you read about the show on SouthernMama’s and receive a $1 discount.

This interactive show features puppet trains. Children hold the marionette controls and “drive” the trains before the shows. The kids have a ball making the train puppets work all by themselves, and it makes really cute photos! This is a unique opportunity for children as the beloved Puppet People rarely have performances that are open to the public, so this is a great chance to see their No. 1 Family Show!
