When school is out for the summer in Savannah, that only means one thing: JEA Camp Savannah.

Registration is now open for this popular, centrally-located, well-established Savannah summer camp. Register online here. 

This summer’s theme: ‘Inside the Outdoors!’ Campers are invited to explore their love of nature in their own way through experiential learning, creative programming & hands-on activities led by local professionals in the field. Campers will be led on a daily adventure through a variety of imaginative & interactive activities.

JEA Camp Savannah better serves the needs of Savannah families by offering a full-day (9AM-5PM) program with optional extended care.

Multi-Child Discounts & Early Bird Discount available. Pay your bill for Camp Savannah in full by 6PM March 15 2019, a $20 per week discount per child will be applied. Learn more here

Field Trips

Throughout the summer, campers will travel to exciting Savannah-area locations for field trips. On weeks when campers do not travel off-site, campers will participate in “stay-trips” where special programming will be provided such as on-site carnivals & other fun activities.

Flexible Camp Hours

Flexibility is key.  You can drop off early (8AM) or stay late (6PM) at no additional charge.

Meet & Greet

You’re invited Sun. June 2 2019, noon-2PM for the annual JEA Camp Savannah Meet and Greet. Meet staff, get your camp T-shirt & take a dip in the pool.

Specialty Camps

JEA Camp Savannah also offers specialty camps including Potions with Professor C; Travel Camp for 6th graders & older; Multi-Cultural Farm to Table; Day Trekkers Travel for 3rd graders & older; and Magic Camp.

Sea Camp Tybee Island 2019 Summer Camp Marine Biology

Join the Tybee Island Marine Science Center for Sea Camp 2019.

Morning and/or Afternoon Modules * After Care * Curbside Drop-off/Pick-up.

Tybee Island Marine Center’s unique camp schedule allows you to drop off your camper for the morning, an afternoon, the whole day or even an entire week. Campers learn about a new coastal critter with every camp session, enjoy supervised beach time, and the week ends with a field trip to the marsh.

Sea Camp is for ages 6-11.

Summer FUN for the kids…designed to fit your schedule

*Choose a combination of days and times to fit your summer schedule.
*Ten sessions of Sea Camp offered.
*Each camp session runs Monday to Friday.
*Sign-up for all five days of a camp session, or any combination of days, mornings, or afternoon modules.
*Each day has two 3-hour modules: Mornings, 9:30AM-12:30PM & Afternoons, 1-4PM
*Each module is $30 (that’s just $10 an hour!)
*Choose both morning and afternoon modules and have your child bring a packed lunch
*After-Care offered each day, 4-5PM for an additional $10/day
*Drop off your camper and enjoy a Beach Day to yourself
*Marine science educators teach sea camps.
*City of Tybee Island’s Ocean Rescue (lifeguards) oversees beach activity throughout the summer and provides first aid services to beach-goers.

Water Activities

Sea campers do not go swimming, however, they do a lot of ankle-deep water activities, and older campers may participate in seine net activities in waist-deep water.

Summer Programs 2019 at St. Andrew’s School on Wilmington Island in Savannah are an opportunity to make new friends, take on new challenges, and fill the long summer days with sun, fun, and fresh experiences.

St. Andrew’s Summer Camps are open to all. Your child does not need to be a student at St. Andrew’s School to attend.

STEM, Sports & Programs for Preschoolers 

The diverse array of St. Andrew’s summer camps consists of hands-on experiences beginning at the age of 3, with new camps being offered in computer program design and STEM for older children. St. Andrew’s sports camps are coordinated by the St. Andrew’s School experienced coaches and teachers and provide training at different levels in many athletic areas including football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, and cheer.

The St. Andrew’s summer camp brochure is filled with programs to spark interest from 3 years of age to upper school.

Long-time favorites will continue with the addition of new camps involving 21st century material. All of the camps will offer the chance for children to develop strong bonds with other children.

Categories of specialty camps offered:

  • Fabulous Fun: Outdoor Explorers, princess camp, slime camp, Master Chef, bake it-take it, American Girl Doll, etiquette, Snapology, and puppetry.
  • Academic: STEM camp, Certification in babysitting & CPR, creative writing, service and learning, math & games, lab rats, getting ready for kindergarten and 1st grade, as well as reading boot camps.
  • Athletic camps: baseball, basketball, football, volleyball for beginners and advanced full day, soccer, cheer, hip-hop dance, Sports Explorers, Performance 360 fitness, and Sweet Feet.
  • Fine Arts camps: Art techniques, paper Mache’, weekly themed art activities exploring different mediums. knitting, sewing, photography, and theatre camps.
