Primary Ballet Program for 5 year-olds @ The Ballet School, Savannah

Dancers will blend basic dance steps, music, and improvisation as an excellent preface to the future study of ballet techniques. Students will also enjoy dance-related crafts and an introduction to French terminology. No dance experience required.

Beginner Program for ages 6-10 @ The Ballet School, Savannah

These daily four hour classes are a rare opportunity for a young dancer to receive professional training in a positive atmosphere. Classes will be structured, yet fun while focusing on ballet technique. This program also teaches French terminology, dance history, musicality, anatomy, Pilates, and an introduction to Traditional Character Dance.

Five hours per day for two weeks will provide a unique opportunity for those dancers seeking professional instruction without having to leave home. Since this is a crucial age for technical training, emphasis will be on correct placement, flexibility and strength.
Class will include ballet technique, pointe (if applicable), partnering, variations,Traditional Character Dance, dance history, French terminology, anatomy, Pilates, Floor Barre, PBT Ball and more. This continued study throughout the summer enables a young dancer to progress rapidly.

Adult Ballet Intensive @ The Ballet School, Savannah

Come experience the Joy of Dance in this two week Ballet Intensive designed specifically for adults. Whether you are a Beginner or an “Old Pro”, you will love the opportunity to give yourself some “ME” time as you improve your Ballet technique with others who share your passion!
The program will consist of six 2 1/2 hour classes focusing on Classical Ballet Technique and will include Floor Barre and Pilates exercises, PBT Ball, as well as center work. The Ballet School provides individual attention with a concentration on proper body alignment & posture, stretching, lengthening, and strengthening.

“Perfect Little Princess” for ages 3-5 @ The Ballet School
An introduction to the fundamentals of both movement and classical dance techniques while learning about fun fairytale characters and famous ballet stories.
Campers will also have a “dress-up” time and craft time, which includes decorating their own special tiara. Your princess should bring her favorite princess gown or costume on Monday to use throughout the week.
Events include a magical tea party, princess spa and hair day and a photograph will be taken while sitting upon her enchanted throne.
On the last day, “A ROYAL INVITATION” is offered for the family to enjoy a fabulous “Runway Show”. Parents and Grandparents, bring your cameras. Healthy snacks will be provided daily. Ages 3-5 years
