Millions of twinkling lights are strung across 5 acres @ Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens in Savannah. This year’s event will be held as a drive thru beginning Fri. Nov. 26 and continuing on select nights through Christmas Eve.

Also, drop your Letters to Santa off @ the special Letters to Santa mailbox @ Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens.

Tickets

The easiest way to purchase tickets is upon entry as you enter the display on Highway 17. Cash and cards accepted. If you would like to pre-purchase tickets, please visit the gift shop during regular business hours.

Location

The Coastal Gardens (not to be confused with the Savannah Botanical Gardens on Eisenhower) are located at 2 Canebrake Road in Savannah. The entrance to Holiday Lights is located on the westbound lane of Hwy 17 just before Canebrake Road.

The gardens staff will post any cancellations on their website and send notifications to Facebook.

City Market Christmas For Kids Celebration Dec. 4, 2021, 11AM-2PM Savannah

Make ornaments. Decorate cookies. Get Grinched (with hair and makeup). Meet Father Christmas and take a picture in the Cinderella carriage tour. All of this, plus face painting, choir music and more add up to a day of fun the whole family can truly enjoy. This is a festive OUTDOOR event in Savannah’s City Market, 11AM-2PM Sat. Dec. 4.

Enjoy lights of 500+ luminaria lining the two-block courtyard, Christmas melodies, Father Christmas.

Both these events are free & open to the public.

Snow Sisters Winter Wonderland Event in Okatie, SC featuring the snow princesses, facepainting, snacks, professional photography, crafts & more.

There will be professional photography with your favorite princesses, crafts, singing, facepainting, balloons, snacks and more.

Come dressed up in your favorite prince or princess outfit. There may event be a special guest appearance from Olaf or Kristoff.

Savannah Boat Parade of Lights 2021

On Sat. Nov. 27 2021. more than 40 boats decorated in holiday cheer will parade the Savannah Riverfront at 7PM culminating in a fireworks show.

MUSIC FROM THE MANGER HOLIDAY-THEMED FESTIVAL, Fri. Dec. 10-Sun. Dec. 12 2021, Port Royal, SC

Port Royal Music Academy Director Jim Bachety is excited to announce a special holiday-themed festival: Music from the Manger is coming to Port Royal.

The Celebration will take place Fri. Dec. 10-Sun. Dec. 12 in the Port Royal Village.

This music-filled Festival will feature a unique Christmas Village and a performance by the talented local recording artist Liz Jane, whose newly recorded first Christmas music CD is “A Thrill of Hope.” Concert proceeds will benefit the Child Abuse Prevention Association (CAPA) of Beaufort.

The Music from the Manger Festival location will be at the end of the inside of Paris Avenue. Many performances with the simple nativity manger creche backdrop will be in the Safe Harbor rustic warehouse on 8th Street. There will be food and drink available, all sharing the theme of the holiday spirit rooted in the low country’s beautiful landscape.

Festival Chair Greg Shelton retired, and a former CEO of an Atlanta-based financial services company has lived in Port Royal full time since 2017. Creating the festival Music from the Manger with the Port Royal Music Academy was essential to Jim and Greg. “It demonstrates Port Royal Music Academy’s commitment to the community and the importance of giving to those less fortunate residing here,” Greg said. “Secondly, it will showcase a local young woman’s musical talent during this season of sharing while also benefiting CAPA of Beaufort.” He added, “Mark your calendars; you are not going to want to miss this.”

Telfair Museums in Savannah is delighted to return to adding a festive Holiday Tree to the Jepson Center atrium this winter.

Kick off the holiday season with a Savannah tree lighting celebration  @ the Jepson Center. The theme of this year’s new, 18-foot tree draws inspiration from Savannah and will be on view until Dec. 31.

This event is free and open to the public. Funds for the tree generously provided by Mr. C.B. Richardson.
