Registration is now open for Savannah’s most popular, full-day Spring Break Art Camp.

The City of Savannah’s Department of Cultural Affairs Art Camp will be during the Chatham County School Spring Break March 26-30 2018.

Registration information

Time: March 26-30, 2018. Location: 9 W. Henry St.

Ages: 5-12 (5 year-old currently enrolled in Kindergarten)

Times: Monday-Thursday, 9AM-4:30PM & Friday, 9AM – 3PM

Fee: Per child per session $165 for non-city residents / $145 for city residents

Daily Schedule

8:30AM – 9AM – Arrival
9AM – 9:30AM – Meet & Greet
9:30AM – 12:30PM – Rotation between classes
12:30PM – 1PM – Lunch
1PM – 2:30PM – Gym
2:30PM- 4:30PM – Rotation between classes
4:30PM – 5:30PM – Pickup

General Camp Information

Drop Off: Please drop off your children no earlier than 8:15AM. Adults/guardians must sign in all camp participants at the parking lot white fence at 9 W. Henry St. Students arriving after 9AM or leaving before 4:30PM must enter and exit camp through the front office at 9 W. Henry Street & be signed in at the front desk by an adult.

Pick Up: Adults/guardians must sign out all camp participants at the parking lot white fence. Late fees of $25 will be imposed for pickups after 5:30PM. Students will ONLY be released to the individuals listed on the registration sheet.

Parents are NOT allowed to visit children during the day while in class or during their lunch/gym break.

Appropriate Attire Reminders: For safety reasons, we suggest tennis shoes. Aprons are provided but we advise dressing your child in clothing appropriate for art making.

Supervised Outdoor Activity Weather Policy: Daily outings are planned to St. Paul’s gym. Activities will be held in the Cultural Affairs facility in the event of rain or excessive temperatures.

Food & Drink: Please send simple, non-spoiling sandwiches, fruit, or vegetables in packaging that your child can open. Make sure that the paper bag/lunch box has your child’s name clearly marked on the front. Please NO peanuts. There is NO access to a refrigerator or a microwave. No food will be provided without prior parental approval.
