It’s a Wiener Dog Racing, Bratwurst Tasting, Oompah Dancing celebration at Savannah’s 32st Annual Oktoberfest on Historic River Street!
Enjoy a bit of Germany…Savannah style with a beer garden offering a variety of beers, food booths featuring German cuisine, and of course the famous Wiener Dog Races hosted by Savannah Morning News. There will be regional arts & crafts exhibitors, live entertainment on the Arbor Stage, and all weekend long.

First Fridays & Saturdays on the River take place each month from March-December.
Spanish tall ship El Galeon San Pelayo will be @ Savannah River Street, Sept. 23-Oct. 3. Open for tours. Hours & details here.
Reminder: you can take the free ferry ride from the Westin on Hutchinson Is. across the Savannah River to River Street & then take it back. Kids love the boat ride.
