Spring Break 2013 Drop-In Activities

Parents wanting to keep their kids active during spring break can bring them by the museum for a daily activity. These one hour programs are offered each day of the week at 10:15 a.m.
Advanced registration encouraged but not required; class size is limited to 12 participants.

Each day student will view, discuss, and recreate the great works form the Uffizi collection. In the studio students will make their own paint, work with gold leaf, paint their own family portraits, and more. All materials provided.

We are so thrilled about these kids’ summer pottery camps at Savannah’s Clay Spot.

Each pottery camp is weekly held, Mon-Friday, 9:00 am- 12:00 noon beginning June 3-August 16th 2013.

Pottery Camps are designed for all ages of kids. Weeks alternate between a younger group and an older group and there is a special preschool age camp happening Aug. 12-16.

Each child will get a great introduction to pottery wheel and projects are designed to include both wheel throwing and hand building construction techniques.

If parents register beginning now until May 1st, they get a 15% discount. If parents register for both a Pottery Camp at Savannah’s Clay Spot and a Summer Art Camp at Scribble Art studio they can get a 20% discount off of each camp. Only one discount applies.

Kindermusik has classes for various age groups, in several locations.

Monday mornings: classes Kindermusik’s new location in Bluffton, SC. Meet at Play!, (53 Persimmons St.), for classes for newborns (0-20 months) & toddlers (18 months to 4 years).

Tuesdays: Richmond Hill classes from 0-6 years old.

Kindermusik by “88 KEYS PIANO” announces the opening of a NEW location in Bluffton SC!

Beginning in January, Kindermusik will be holding classes on Monday mornings in Bluffton at Play!, located at 53 Persimmons St. FREE DEMO DAYS will be held on Mon. Jan. 7 & Mon. Jan. 14 to introduce everyone to Kindermusik’s newest location. You can enjoy a free Kindermusik class with their child.

Kindermusik’s toddler class is for 18 month to 4 year olds and will be featuring their all-new theme, “Rhyme Around Town”. Expand your toddler’s vocabulary with playful use of rhymes and words, all set to rhyming musical selections! This class meets on Wednesdays at 10:50, starting in December.

Kindermusik’s afternoon class is for all ages combined….Newborns to 7 years old…. and their December theme is “Out and About”. Kindermusik will be meeting on Wednesdays at 3:20pm and will explore all sort of pretend trips and sounds around town, as you keep busy moving and grooving!

Studio 2424 announces the grand opening of MusikGarten family music sessions for toddlers and babies at the Averitt Center in Statesboro starting in 2013, in addition to the classes offered in Savannah.
