National Train Day @ Georgia State Railroad Museum, Savannah
Celebrate National Train Day with Coastal Rail Buffs at Georgia State Railroad Museum in Savannah 10AM-3PM Sat. May 10 2025.
Coastal Rail Buffs and their friends will bring a wide variety of model train layouts for visitors to enjoy, including ones you can operate yourself.
Coastal Rail Buffs will also have a lively playlist of train-themed songs and train sound recordings for visitors to listen to while viewing the layouts. Layouts will be stationed in the historic Blacksmith Shop until 3PM.
This event is included in Georgia State Railroad Museum admission and is FREE for Coastal Heritage Society members. Become a member here.

Train Rides @ Georgia State Railroad Museum
Take your kids on a train ride in May.
Georgia State Railroad Museum in Savannah will offer short train rides on Wednesdays-Sundays during May 2025 as well as on Memorial Day May 26. Details here.
Train rides are at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, & 3pm.
