Coming in January 2024: a new visitor center @ Wormsloe State Historic Site in Savannah.
The new building features a shaded porch, gift shop and exhibits. Visitors will be able to rent bikes to pedal down Wormsloe’s well-known 1.5 mile-long Avenue of Live Oaks draped in Spanish moss.

Families and pets are invited for a hike on New Year’s Day Mon. Jan. 1 2024 10-11AM @ Wormsloe State HIstoric Site on Wormsloe’s historic Live Oak Avenue (1.5 miles). $2.50 – $11.25, Program fee: $2. 912-353-3023.
Battery Trail First Day Hike, 1-2:30PM Jan. 1 2024
Start new year with a hike at Wormsloe on the Battery Trail (Orange Trail – 2.3 miles). $2.50 – $11.25, Program fee: $2.00 912-353-3023.
