10 kid-friendly local spots to visit this fall include Oatland Island Wildlife Center (pictured) in Savannah, home to more than 150 animals exhibited in natural habitats along a trail through forest and marsh lands. Exhibits include the “Wolf Wilderness” featuring gray wolves, armadillos, flying squirrels, screech owls and reptiles as well the Georgia Farm area with cows, sheep, goats and rabbits. Along the trail are cougars, bobcats, bison, alligators, red fox and birds of prey.
