About LowCountry Down Syndrome Society

Since 2006, LDSS has grown from a group of a few families to an organization serving Savannah and the surrounding counties through events such as The Buddy Walk, The Night of Champions and Camp Buddy.

LDSS is a non-profit support group to benefit people with Down Syndrome and their families through local leadership in support, outreach, education and advocacy. Meetings are regularly, typically with a guest speaker and social time for families to meet and interact with one another. Members are encouraged to bring their children. The group is an affiliate of the National Down Syndrome Society. http://www.ldssga.org/
