Looking for something fun to do with the family this weekend? Stop by the Georgia State Railroad Museum in downtown Savannah this Sat. & Sun. March 22 & 23 2014 for a celebration of all things steam. There’s something for everyone with great behind the scenes tours, site tours by steam train and introducing…. the museum’s BRAND NEW Locomotion Lab!

General admission pricing applies for this great weekend – as always, members are FREE.

LOCOMOTION LAB
A Family Learning Space

This exciting new family space combines science, technology and fun with tons of self guided learning activities for all ages. Including the museum’s famous train table, a reading area, K’nex for older kids, an interactive steam locomotive diagram and much more.

For this very first open weekend Georgia State Railroad will debut two guided activities:
The Smoke Stack: Bernoulli’s Principle at 11:00 on March 22 & 23
Wood Block Floor: Tessallation at 2:00 on March 22 & 23

SPECIAL GUIDED TOURS

Celebrate steam with Georgia State Railroad Museum. There will be guided tours and fun behind-the-scenes looks into the Back Shops. For the full schedule CLICK HERE.
