FREE Films in Forsyth features ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’ & ‘Frozen’
We simply cannot wait.
One of our favorite FREE Savannah spring events is when the SCAD Student Activities Council transforms Savannah’s historic Forsyth Park into an outdoor movie theater for “Films in Forsyth.”
This year’s films picks are the best:
In “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,” four children travel through a wardrobe to the land of Narnia and learn of their destiny with the guidance of a mystical lion.
In “Frozen,” Anna, a fearless optimist, sets off on an epic journey, teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven, to find her sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.
This event is held in conjunction with Sidewalk Arts Festival, Saturday, April 26, and is free and open to the public. All are invited to bring blankets, chairs, food and nonalcoholic beverages. For more information on the FREE Sidewalk Arts Festival, click here.
