Fall 2014: Pumpkin Patches & Corn Mazes around Savannah
Yes we really are posting about pumpkin patch farms in August.

Meanwhile, here’s the 411 on pumpkin patches that you can visit during Fall 2014 in a daytrip from Savannah.
Poppell Farms in Odum near Jesup. It is roughly a 75 minute to 90 minute drive from Savannah, closer from Richmond Hill. The farm has so many activities including the all-time kid favorite crop hopper (giant outdoor trampoline), cow train, goat walk, bouncy houses, corn house, steer roping & more. Poppell Farms opens Oct. 4 2014 is open every weekend in October 2014 (Saturday & Sunday) Details here.
Holiday Farms about 1 hour away in Ridgeland, S.C. It has lots of activities – pig races, pretend to milk pretend cow, hayride, duck races, bouncy house, giant tricycle races, barnyard & more. Closed Sundays. Great fall field trip for churches, schools, daycares, scouts, etc. Details here.
We have visited both Poppell Farms & Holiday Farms several times over the years & highly recommend both!
