Private School in Savannah Supports Fight Against Breast Cancer

Private schools in Savannah St. Andrew’s School on Wilmington Island in Savannah recently partnered with The Side-Out Foundation which unites volleyball players and coaches in the fight against breast cancer. In conjunction with the September 6 volleyball game, the St. Andrew’s community raised over $700 for the Side-Out organization.

Side-Out supports teams nationwide in their volleyball games and clinics. The organization’s goal is to increase patient support services, educate communities and fund research. You may still donate to the St. Andrew’s campaign at

In addition to winning the fight against breast cancer, the St. Andrew’s Lady Lions are on a winning streak on the court. The Varsity and JV teams defeated Beaufort Academy this week, extending their winning streak to 7-0 and 4-0, respectively. Congrats to these awesome student athletes.
