Savannah’s Clay Spot is also a fun, unique spot to host creative children’s birthday parties and events. They’ll have everything set up for you and your guests. Generally, events are planned for a two-hour session. This session includes one hour of fun instruction focused on a theme of your choice. The instruction time is split up over the session to allow time for creating, snacks and socialization. All projects will be finished with a glossy food-safe glaze and fired in Clay Spot’s kilns to make a lasting keepsake from your celebration. See more details here.

Kids with Clay, Ages 6-10 Kid’s will have a blast expressing themselves artistically though the medium of clay. While building social, critical thinking and technical skills young students will create whimsical, fun, colorful works of art created both on and off the potter’s wheel

PreSchooler’s Fun with Clay, Ages 3-5 Savannah’s Clay Spot invites your young artist to set their playdough aside and dive into the “real thing”! Let them feel like a”big kid” by working in a child friendly, professional ceramic studio where they will create wonderful keepsake works of art.
Mondays, September 9- October 21, 2013 4:30pm-5:30pm 6 weeks $110
Teens with Clay, Ages 10-16 Students will learn fundamental techniques with hand building and throwing basic forms on the potter’s wheel. Youth will be challenged to create dynamic surface decorations using glazes, slips and applied elements.

Fun with Clay for Kids and Parents, Ages 4-10 Kids along side their parent will have a great time being expressive with clay that will be fired and finished with non toxic food safe glazes. The class will serve a great introduction to working with clay both on and off the potter’s wheel. This creative experience will provide lasting memories and fabulous collaborative works of art.
