Pegasus Riding Academy in Savannah hosts Scary in the Dairy 2021 & Haunted Trails

Halloween fun for the whole family! Haunted Hay Rides, horse rides, pumpkin carving, cake walk, bubble factory and games. Plus a pumpkin carving contest at 6PM. Schools can compete. All of the above  and more @ Scary in the Dairy 2021, Sun. Oct. 24, 4-8PM.

Proceeds benefit Pegasus Riding Academy Veteran’s Program.

After the Scary in the Dairy Sunday festival, Haunted Trails @ Pegasus Riding Academy will be later that night 8-9:30PM Sun. Oct. 24 as well as Oct. 25-30 2021, 6:30-8:30PM.

Online reservations are now available for Halloween Hike 2021 @ Oatland Island Wildlife Center, Savannah.

Oatland Island’s annual Halloween Hike will return on October 15th & 16th 2021, from 5 – 8PM.

Last hike leaves at 8PM.

Pre-paid online reservations available here. 

Take a walk with your Trick or Treaters down the forest trail to meet and gather goodies from friendly animal characters. Mother Earth will be there to show you the way along the trail to the various character and candy stops along the hike.

​​*Comfortable walking shoes and costumes are encouraged and children must be accompanied by an adult.​
*All activities are outdoors.
*Restrooms will be available in the Main Building and Barnyard. Masks are required when inside any building on Oatland property.
*Please bring your own treat bags.
*Advance pre-paid reservations are required and are non-refundable.

​In the event of a full weather cancellation, a Rain Date will be offered on Sun. Oct. 17 from 4-7PM, with Early Bird from 4-5:30PM & After Dark from 5:30-7PM.

Wag-O-Ween Weekend 2021 is a pet-friendly community event that takes place in downtown Savannah and attracts 1000+ yearly participants.

Money raised supports local animal rescues in their mission to place pets in ‘furever’ homes, subsidize no-barrier community spay and neuter, and support community education programs.

There is still time to register for this special Halloween event, Tricks, Treats, & Trains, a socially distanced trick-or-treating experience at Georgia State Railroad Museum in Savannah this Sat. October 31, 2020, 10AM-12 PM.

Georgia State Railroad Museum is a large, open-air historic site with plenty of space for safe social distancing. Costumed staff and volunteers handing out treats will be positioned throughout the outdoor museum for participants to trick-or-treat. Halloween-themed activities will also be offered throughout the day at Savannah Children’s Museum from 9:30AM-2:30PM.

Tickets for Tricks, Treats, & Trains are $5 per person 18-months-old and up. A discounted combination ticket including admission to Savannah Children’s Museum and Tricks, Treats, & Trains are $10 per person.

Pooler Police Department TRICK-OR-TREAT

Bring your kids by the Pooler Police Department this Monday-Friday Oct. 26-Oct. 30 between 9AM-5PM to receive a Halloween goodie bag from Pooler police.

They can’t wait to see you and your costumes.

Safely trick-or-treat with the Savannah Police Department this Thurs. Oct. 29  5:30-7:30PM (or until the candy runs out) @ Daffin Park.

Cars will stop at decorated stations throughout the park to receive Halloween goodies.

Participants MUST BE in a vehicle, and cars will enter the park from Bee Road.

Walk-up trick-or-treating will not be allowed.

Free & open to the public.

Kick off Halloween at the Islands Spooktacluar Halloween market 2020, 9AM-Noon Sat. Oct. 31

This market will features are regular food and craft vendors along with these additions.

*Dress up puppies and dogs for a dog costume contest.
*Visit vendors to collect CANDY. All candy will be individually bagged and vendors will pass out the candy from their booth.
*The Church is hosting a food drive if you have non- perishable food items to help benefit those in need bring those to the market.  Donations go to the Lighthouse Ministries Food Pantry.

Free Drive-Through Trunk or Treat @ YMCA of Coastal Georgia’s Habersham branch, Savannah

Join the Habersham YMCA annual Trunk or Treat in Savannah, 5-7PM Thurs. Oct. 22, but this year the event will be a drive-through in Habersham’s branch Trunk or Treat Alley.

Receive free treat bags, school supplies courtesy community partner WellCare, free family food boxes from partner Second Harvest, goodies from City of Savannah Fire and EMS as well as other donated items. At the end stop, hop out and take a family photo at the fall themed photo booth.

Kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costume and take part in the photo contest.
