(Savannah Schools) St. Andrew’s School receives National Yearbook Program of Excellence Award
St. Andrew’s students Reese Young ’23 and Claire Fleming ’24 served as editors of the award-winning yearbook under the direction of Scott Searcy, St. Andrew’s yearbook adviser.
Congratulations to St. Andrew’s School in Savannah!
Jostens, the leading producer of yearbooks and student-created content, today announced that
St. Andrew’s yearbook program has achieved the Jostens 2023 National Yearbook Program of Excellence
Award at the Gold Level.
The National Yearbook Program of Excellence recognizes engaging yearbooks that reflect a broad representation of the student body while helping students develop 21st century skills
such as communication, collaboration, and information and communication technologies literacy.
Reese Young ’23 and Claire Fleming ’24 served as editors of the award-winning yearbook under the
direction of Scott Searcy, St. Andrew’s yearbook adviser.
The yearbook staff included: seniors Stella Bowen, Celia Cerbone, Lauren Hylan, Jonah Hobbie, Carter Kleinpeter, Sarah Koegler, Caroline Kurinij, Lizzie Lank, Kaleb Lofton, Jillian Rachlin, Ava Stillwagon, and Chesley Strain; and juniors Sara Sergi and Richaard Williams.
“I am so proud of this group of students and the many hours they put into producing a memorable
yearbook for the St. Andrew’s community,” said Searcy. “As a team, we reexamined every aspect of the
book with the goal of presenting a fresh perspective for all areas of campus life.”
The award was presented to the St. Andrew’s yearbook program for achieving defined criteria in the
following categories: creating an inclusive yearbook, generating school engagement, and successfully
managing the yearbook creation process.

school and community,” said Tammy Whitaker, Jostens VP and COO Yearbook Division. “Yearbooks are
a critical part of capturing and telling a school’s story, and Jostens is dedicated to supporting yearbook
staff members as they do their important work.”
