Things to do in Savannah: Oatland Island Wildlife Center

Oatland Island Wildlife Center is there for you when you need an entertaining outdoor spot to take the kids.

Open seven days a week, 10AM-4PM every day except Thanksgiving Day, Dec. 24, Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. You and your kids can basically hit these self-guided trails any day of the week to see more than 95 animals from 39 difference species on exhibit, including mammals, fish, invertebrates, birds and reptiles.

Bring a picnic. Covered and uncovered picnic tables available for use near the Welcome Center, the dock and the Barnyard enclosure

How fortunate are we to have this resource in Savannah for our kids.

See Ode to Oatland Reel here.
