20 percent of Savannah-Chatham public school students were COVID quarantined week ending Jan. 14
The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) reports 1038 students tested positive for COVID-19 and 7,074 are quarantined as of the week ending Jan. 14 2022.
With the addition of the area’s five charter schools, those numbers rise to 1123 testing positive and 7,335 quarantined.
That means 3% of all students tested positive for COVID-19 and 20% are quarantined.
SCCPSS reports 385 staff members were infected and 460 are quarantined.
