Drowning prevention tips from The Tiny Beet – a general pediatric direct primary practice in Savannah

Did you know that 88% of child drownings occur with at least one adult present?
Pool season is here. Savannah pediatrician Dr. Yolanda Rivera-Caudill @ The Tiny Beet – a general pediatric direct primary practice in Savannah –  is on a mission to spread awareness on swimming safety.

Tiny Beet Tips Series: Tip No. 1
Assign a water watcher.
Even if there is a lifeguard present, the water watcher is a designated person who’s role is to observe the children’s activity while in or around the pool. Together we can have a safer swimming summer.
