Splash & Sprint: Safe Kids Savannah run & swim race, rescheduled for Oct. 14

UPDATE: Due to the aftermath of hurricane Irma, the Splash and Sprint has been rescheduled for Oct. 14 2017. Registration will remain open until Oct. 13. If you have any questions or concerns, please send them to joneske4@memorialhealth.com.

Safe Kids Savannah will hold Splash and Sprint, a timed swimming and running event presented by Dr. Mark Kamaleson of Optim Orthopedics, Sat. Oct. 14, at the Chatham County Aquatic Center & Lake Mayer in Savannah.

Participants can register online here.

The event is for youth ages 6 to 15 and the top male and female finishers will receive a medal. All participants will receive a ribbon.

The swim & run event is unique to coastal Georgia. The event helps promote water & sports safety & is also a fundraiser for Safe Kids Savannah. Funds raised through Splash & Sprint help to purchase items such as bicycle helmets, child safety seats & life jackets that can be distributed throughout local communities.

Packet pick-up will take place on Fri. Oct. 13, 4-7PM @ the Chatham County Aquatic Center, 7240 Sallie Mood Drive.
