(Savannah schools) St. Andrew’s JV Cheerleaders Win State Title

St. Andrew’s School JV Cheerleaders took the SCISA State title for 2017. This marks the second year in a row for the team to be recognized as state champs in their division.

These young student athletes have been training as a team since August and only three girls are returners from last year’s winning team.

“The hard work paid off and seeing the excitement on their faces was worth the long hours,” said Donna Krauss, JV Cheer Coach. “They hit every stunt and pyramid perfectly and the routine was sharp.”

Team members are: Marie Audebert, Marisol Babcock, Greta Forti, Taylor Hamilton, Kinnett Howard, Grace Loehr, Meghan Maust, Lucy Miller, Caroline Schwalbe, Lauren Sparks, Sterling Stephens, Elizabeth Vaughn
