Savannah kids Spring 2016 art classes & workshops
You & your child can get your hands dirty in a Piggy Pottery Saturday workshop in Savannah.
The Piggy Pottery workshop 10AM-1PM Sat. March 26 is one of several art workshops & classes offered by The City of Savannah Department of Cultural Affairs.
Class will use basic hand building techniques to make unique sculptures for ages 12+ with a parent or 17+ without a parent.
Registration is open for The City of Savannah Department of Cultural Affairs Session 2 Visual Arts Classes & Workshops.
Day & evening sessions are offered for children, teens & adults in all skill levels. Sessions run through April 9.
Classes are @ the Department of Cultural Affairs studios, 9 W. Henry St. in Savannah. Fees include instruction, use of studio space, use of equipment & all materials, tools required. Space is limited. Advance registration is required.

Join this hands-on workshop open to all skill levels interested in learning basic embroidery techniques. Students will learn how to create their own weaving board & will work with a variety of materials.

Join this hands-on workshop open to all skill levels interested in enameling. Students will learn basic enameling techniques creating one of a kind jewelry.

Join instructor Dave Peterson in the mud puddle & make your own pottery pig. Class will use basic hand building techniques to make unique sculptures.

Glass Quilt: Fused Glass

Ages 14+, Sat. April 9, 10am-2pm
Join this fun, hands-on class, open to all levels from the beginner to those who want to learn more about various techniques in fused glass, culminating in a glass quilt. A glass kit with 4 sheets is included in cost, as well as scrap glass.
