Experience the inaugural “Holidays on Broughton” festivities continuing each Saturday through Dec. 17.

The Broughton Street merriment includes the 50-foot Broughton Street holiday tree at the corner of Broughton and Bull Streets, seasonal music performances and Santa visits.

“Holidays on Broughton” also will include:

* Santa family visits and photos every Saturday through Dec. 17, 10AM-2PM underneath the holiday tree. To make your reservation for a photo with Santa, click HERE.

* Each Friday and Saturday night, 6-9:30PM, digital projections will illuminate holiday scenes and celebrate the restoration of the street.

* Each Saturday, 3-6PM, the stage will have scheduled performances to boast music, dance and demonstrations.

* There will also be a Punch & Judy’s pop-up children’s store at 25 E. Broughton St. Nov. 19-Dec. 24.

Throughout the whimsical holiday event, many shops along Broughton Street will offer extended hours of operation and holiday shopping incentives.

Holiday shopping is made easy with three hours of free parking Thursdays and Fridays in any city-owned parking garage, sponsored by the City of Savannah. Daily rates apply after the first three hours of free parking.

Garages included: Bryan Street, Liberty Street, Robinson garage on Montgomery Street, State Street Garage and the Whitaker Street Garage.

Photos with Santa

Art Projections
Each Friday and Saturday through Thursday, December 26, from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

Throughout “Holidays on Broughton,” bright, colorful and whimsical building projections will illuminate Broughton Street nightly. In celebration of Savannah’s original Main Street, the range of classic and modern projections will feature high-tech and immersive images from Broughton Street’s storied past.

Musical Entertainment
Saturday, December 3, from 12 to 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, December 10, from 2 to 6 p.m.
Saturday, December 17, from 3 to 6 p.m.

Taking stage at the intersection of Broughton and Bull Streets, local Savannah musical groups – from the Savannah Country Day School jazz band and Parris Island Marine Band, to the Tell Scarlet band and The Wilde School of Music students – will provide holiday entertainment to the visitors and shoppers for a one-of-a-kind experience set against the backdrop of Broughton’s grand holiday tree. No other street in the area lights up with music, dance and celebration like Broughton Street for the nightly celebration that is “Holidays on Broughton.”
