FREE 2016 Skills Day Competition & Family Festival, Richmond Hill, Oct. 22
The Savannah Electrical Training Alliance (SETA) will host a FREE Skills Day Competition in Richmond Hill on Oct. 22 2016.
This event – the first of its kind in the region – is open to the public and will be in the picnic area of J.F. Gregory Park in Richmond Hill. Activities will be 10AM until 4PM.
“We are an apprenticeship program for industrial and commercial electricians,” says Wayne Huggins, Georgia NECA Executive Director. “This event is designed to test the skills of our apprentices, and allow the community and family members come out to see what our profession is all about. It’s also a great opportunity for anyone who may be looking for a future career.”
In addition to the friendly competition among the apprentice electricians, there will also be family activities such as a bounce house, dunk tank, corn hole, and arts and crafts. Food will be available for purchase from food trucks plus cotton candy and snow cone vendors.
