The 6th Annual Mardi Gras Tybee will roll into town on March 1 2014. Bring your crew to this family-friendly celebration, featuring a festive parade at 2 PM and a street party starting at noon. Tybee will be decked-out in purple, gold and green and party-goers will enjoy live entertainment, lavish costumes, fun contests, Cajun cuisine and much more.

Mardi Gras Street Party
Saturday, March 1
Strand Roundabout (at south end of island on Tybrisa Street and Butler Avenue)
12-9 p.m.
Dig into some delicious Ragin Cajun Crawfish Boil & Gumbo, served all day, and listen to live music starting at 1 p.m., including Brad and Randall and the Zydeco Ballers at 3 p.m. and Voodoo Soup at 6 p.m.

Grab your chairs (and beads) and find a spot along on the street to watch as Tybee’s Mardi Gras parade rolls down Butler Avenue from Memorial Park to Tybrisa Street and features colorful floats, plenty of beads and marching bands!
