Savannah Classical Academy charter school, K-12th grade

The annual lottery for Savannah Classical Academy is now open to all students living in Chatham County, from kindergarten to twelfth grade.

Families may also visit the school to submit an application Monday-Thursday, 8:30AM until 2PM.

Deadline to apply: January 20, 2023.

Savannah Classical Academy is a public charter school serving residents of Chatham County.

There is no tuition.

SCA is a public, nonsectarian, nonreligious, nonprofit school organized and operated under Georgia State laws.

SCA operates under one county-wide attendance zone. If SCA receives more applications than seats available in a grade level, students are admitted by a lottery process as mandated by state and federal law.

Compared to other area public schools, SCA students’ achievement results outscored the county public school system on all twenty-two state assessments.
