Happy First Birthday to Oatland Island WIldlife Center’s two cougars Olympia and Rainier!

You’re invited to come and celebrate with Friends of Oatland Island (FOO) at the Cougars’ First Birthday Bash on Sat. Oct. 29 2022, 11AM-2PM.

What to Expect

  • There will be cake (while it lasts).
  • Keeper talks about the cougars and loads of cougar viewing time!
  • Special enrichment items beginning at 11AM.
  • Face painting & popcorn available for purchase.
  • Pie Society, Sweet Spice, and Chazitos Food Trucks will be on site.
  • We will also be taking donations for special symbolic adoptions that will help fund a sunshade over the habitat at Cougar Crossing. This will be a tremendous improvement to Olympia and Rainier’s enjoyment of the space, as well as the community’s enjoyment in watching our beloved cougar siblings.
