Hamilton launches free online EduHam for kids
The popular companion in-school program known as EduHam is being made available digitally through August, free of charge, to teachers, parents and pupils everywhere.
The launch of EduHam at Home was announced this week by “Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and his partners in the venture: producer Jeffrey Seller, the Rockefeller Foundation and the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, which developed the curriculum.
The program uses a love of the musical to spark students’ interests in creative pursuits and tie them to historical research.
EduHam was born as an offshoot of “Hamilton” and 250,000 students nationwide have participated.
