(Savannah Holidays 2018) Tree Lighting & more Savannah Holly Days family events

Savannah Holly Days 2017 Tree Lighting, Cookies with Santa

Savannah knows how to throw a kid-friendly holiday season.

We can credit that to The Savannah Holly Days, which was created to promote holiday cheer and events from Thanksgiving through New Year’s.

Parts of Savannah’s Historic District will be adorned with holiday decorations throughout the season and host signature events for the entire family to enjoy.

The Savannah Holly Days signature event series begins the Friday after Thanksgiving with special events and offerings running through New Year’s.

Enjoy a tree lighting spectacular, cookies with Santa, kid’s block party, carolers on Broughton and more. Every Friday and Saturday night, a holiday video will play on the wall of Levy Jeweler’s on Bull and Broughton. Individuals can upload photos of their favorite Savannah holiday moments via the website or tag #SavHollyMoments or #SavHollyDays on social media to be included on the big screen.

The purpose of Savannah Holly Days is to help bring people downtown to eat and shop during the holiday season.
