(Free Savannah events) Deep Speaks 2018

Deep Speaks

The Young Author Project, Deep Center’s introductory program, engages public middle school students with language & their stories to help them express themselves with skill, confidence & courage.

Twice a year, Deep Center releases anthologies featuring original, vivid &  fearless stories, poems & plays written by Deep’s young authors—Savannah-Chatham public middle school students in Deep’s Young Author Project.

Select young authors are chosen by their peers to read their published works at Deep Speaksthe Youth Author Project’s end-of-semester book launch & live reading in front of a live audience of about 500  family members, peers & community members from all over Savannah.

Come hear these literary works.

Seating is first-come, first-served. Doors open at 6PM. The readings will start promptly at 6:30PM.
