We stayed at this Golden Isles oceanside, family-friendly and dog-friendly hotel the first weekend in February 2017 and can’t wait to go back. My kids actually swam in the pool (in February!) and warmed up in the hot tub but not before savoring the oceanfront playground and dog-friendly beach. (Until Memorial Day, your dog can run off-leash on the beach.)

This is the only hotel we ever frequent when visiting Jekyll. But this was the first time we were able to enjoy the hotel’s new Beach House restaurant – which offers indoor and outdoor dining. Kids eat free with the purchase of an adult meal. Think fresh, locally-sourced seafood, house-made pizza, fresh salads, and pasta.

The Kid’s Club features planned activities from the hotel’s activities manager, such as arts and crafts, water balloon fights, outdoor movie nights and more. The KidSuite rooms include bunk beds for the little ones and a separate bedroom for parents.
