(Martial Arts Classes in Savannah): Kombative Academy offers women’s self-defense class starting Sept. 23 & classes for kids, teens
The Kombative Academy of Traditional Martial Arts (KATMA) in Savannah offers a variety of classes for all ages, combining of reality-base martial arts and practical common sense practical self-defense. KATMA uses different types of martial arts along with mental and physical conditioning to develop the whole person. KATMA offers self-defense focused programs for children 5-12 years old teens and adults.
KATMA offers several programs:
Lameco Escrima (Traditional Filipino stick fighting) open to juniors 12 years and older
RAD (Rape Aggressor Defense) Program, a national women self-defense course. Offered for women and girls 12 year old and up.
Tae Kwon Do (WTF)
Children 5 – 12 years old.
