Congratulations to Roger Moss & the Savannah Children’s Choir on being named Grand Marshals with Santa this year in the Dec. 5 Savannah Waterfront Association’s Lighted Christmas Parade.

Roger Moss is an accomplished performer and community leader and co-founder and Director of Development for the Savannah Children’s Choir.

The choral organization is a community supported non-profit whose mission is to unite, mentor and transform Savannah’s children into responsible, creative, and confident leaders through excellence in choral performance and music education.

The lighted parade starts at 5:30PM Dec. 5 on the west end of River Street and will travel throughout downtown, ending in City Market.

This year’s parade will have over 40 community groups and businesses with multiple units of decorated cars, trucks, floats, and trolleys. Even the walking groups are wrapped in Christmas lights.

Savannah Children’s Choir 10th annual Holiday Concert

On Sun. Dec. 6 at 3PM, the Savannah Children’s Choir will present their 10th annual Holiday Concert at the historic Lucas Theatre.

Start off you holiday season on the right note with this annual tradition, which brings together Savannahians and visitors together in a family-friendly concert celebrating the sounds of the season.

Tickets, which may be purchased at the Savannah Box Office online or by calling (912) 525-5050, are VIP Reserved ($50) and Reserved ($25) and General Admission Adult ($10) and General Admission Student/Child ($5).
