Join the High School Competition at SCAD’s Sidewalk Arts Festival 2015

Prospective SCAD students are invited to show off their drawing and design skills by creating temporary chalk masterpieces during the university’s annual Sidewalk Arts Festival. Add a splash of color to the paved walkways of Savannah’s scenic Forsyth Park alongside SCAD students, alumni and faculty.

SCAD undergraduate students, graduate students, alumni and prospective students compete in their respective categories. High School Competition winners will receive a gift card to shopSCAD. Prospective students must currently be in their freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year of high school in order to take part in the competition.

After the event, high school students may take a special tour of SCAD Savannah, which leaves Smithfield Cottage at 2 p.m. The tour offers a glimpse of student life and all that the university for creative careers has to offer. Tour participants will return to the Sidewalk Arts Festival at 4 p.m. for the announcement of winners and to enjoy the festivities, which include cultural activities, international cuisine, music and more.
