The Symposium is inspired by the work of Richard Louv, author of Last Child in the Woods and co-founder of the Children & Nature Network.

Special kids program

There also will be a children’s program on Saturday morning April 25 that is limited and requires advance registration. The fee for childcare is $5/child or $10/family. Admission to Oatland Island is complimentary as is a continental breakfast for all on Saturday morning.
